Our Partnership Model
LAFF gives children and homes in Peru the tools and skills they need to build a more independent future. We provide educational and vocational training support for vulnerable youth, and support organisational sustainability through income generation, cost reduction initiatives and capacity building for staff.
LAFF has an in-depth selection process to choose its partners carefully. To ensure that we have maximum impact, we work hard to find partners who share the same values as us, are open and transparent about their needs, strengths and weaknesses, as well as their finances, so that we can help them to the best of our ability.
Once selected, we work closely with partners to identify their needs and challenges, so that we can work on them together. As well as providing grants to support sustainability or education initiatives at the home, we also provide tailored needs-based capacity building support to the staff of the home, so that the organisation can become stronger and more independent in future.
We monitor and evaluate the progress of any projects we have supported, so that both the organisations and LAFF can learn from them. We conduct regular reviews of our partnerships to ensure they are meeting our objectives and the needs of the organisations and children.
