As we near the end of 2019 it’s time for LAFF to announce their CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN!! And this year we are offering the chance to give the gift of a laff-time!
Fed up of giving the same gifts each year? Stuck for secret Santa inspiration? We’ve got you covered! Why not give a LAFF gift card, that will help over 100 children in Peru receive a quality education this coming year.
Just choose an amount, donate on our JustGiving page and email the gift recipient’s name and amount to [email protected] We’ll email you a personalised gift certificate to give instead of that box of chocolates. Just print and give – instant Christmas love with soul!
Here’s what your donation could do:
£10 – could equip Gloria, a young mother, with all the books she needs for the school year
£15 – could help 14-year-old Nilo go to school for a month and finally learn how to read and write.
£30 – could mean Miriam can attend a vocational course for a year, equipping her with the skills to support herself and her family financially.
£40 – could mean Dany, rescued from extreme poverty, can get a new school uniform.
£70 – could mean a year of psychological support for Paulo, that enables him to take full advantage of his education.
£100 – could mean we can equip a library for 25 rural girls for after school support.
***LAFF now supports 110 vulnerable children and young people in Peru. Each of them has their own story. Each deserves the chance to change their own futures***
Your donation could support someone like Alvaro, who came to Azul Wasi in 2018 when he was 8 years old, after he was found working in the streets of Cusco. Due to extreme poverty, his parents could not take care of him and his siblings. Alvarito was extremely thin when he first arrived at Azul Wasi and was too shy to speak with the other boys. However, it only took a few months for him to become close friends with many of the boys and gain weight. Alvaro loves to play football, especially when he is goalie. His favourite “Avenger” is Hulk!
